Can I use/bring my own car?

If you have your own car here, you can use it, and depending on the distance, you will receive compensation per kilometer.
If you want to bring your own car to the Netherlands, for example, from Spain, that is also possible.

However, you should be aware that you are only allowed to drive it here for a maximum of 6 months. If you change your personal registration to an address in the Netherlands, you must also register your car with the Dutch car registry (RDW). Otherwise, you will not be allowed to drive.

Will I have transportation to get to work?

1. If the accommodation is less than 10 km from work, you can rent a bicycle available at the agency.

2. Most companies will cover the cost of transportation. In case they don’t, the agency can offer transportation at a weekly cost.

3. If you have a valid European driving license, a company vehicle can be provided for commuting. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to pick up and drop off workers from the same company during your working hours, and you will be compensated.

Can I use my health insurance from another country in the Netherlands?

For visits and traveling yes, if your insurance has a travel policy. 
However, you need Dutch health insurance to be able to work. This one is normally provided by the employer and deducted from your payslip weekly.

Health insurance is mandatory for all residents and workers. We offer collective health insurance for our employees.

No, it is not necessary. You can have a European bank account or an online bank. But if you would like to open one in the Netherlands, we can assist in the opening process

When is the salary paid?

At Talent Hunter Netherlands, we pay the salary every Tuesday.

When you start working, you don’t need to pay for accommodation in the first two weeks. This means that in the first two weeks of work, you will not be charged for accommodation. However, starting from the third week, you will begin to pay for accommodation, and that cost will be deducted from your salary every Friday. If you decide to stop working for the company, either because you are dismissed or because you decide to leave, the accommodation cost for the first two weeks of work will be deducted before you receive your last salary.

Example: Sara arrives on the 7th, Thursday. And she will start working on Monday, the 11th. She wouldn’t receive her salary during the first two weeks, but she wouldn’t pay for accommodation either. On the 29th, Friday, she would receive her first salary for that week with only the deduction of that week’s accommodation, and so on every week. After a year and a half, Sara is offered a permanent contract and ends the contract with us, so now she would receive the sum of her first two weeks on the next Friday and the deduction of all other expenses (accommodation, health insurance, etc.

Your salary will depend on the vacancy you work in and will be subject to deductions for accommodation and health insurance. Note that the salaries offered on the website are gross. However, all your earnings will be in compliance with the regulations of the sector and the government .

It is not necessary to speak Dutch to work in the Netherlands, but it's a great advantage! 
We hope you have at least an A2 level english, basic, and conversational. The higher your English proficiency, the easier it will be to find a good and better job for you.

Yes, under double taxation treaties, you may be able to deduct taxes paid in the Netherlands from your taxes in Spain. This can help you avoid double taxation.

In most cases, you will be picked up or guided from the airport or a nearby station, depending on the arrangements made by the employer or local team.

At Talent Hunter, we support you throughout the process before departure and stay in contact to make sure everything is properly arranged between you and the employer. Once you arrive, the local team in the Netherlands takes over your onboarding and day-to-day support.

What happens if I apply for a job and I am under 21?

If you are under 21, the salary is generally lower due to the Dutch youth minimum wage regulations. This applies to many positions in the Netherlands and is something we always try to indicate clearly in the job vacancy.

We make sure to inform candidates about the correct salary before they start, so there are no surprises during the process. You can still apply for all available jobs as long as you meet the requirements for the position.

How long does it usually take to find a job?

It depends on the vacancy and its starting date with the company. In most cases, you will receive a response within 1–3 days after contacting us to confirm whether you are invited for an online interview. Within a maximum of one week, you will usually receive a final decision regarding the job offer.

To speed up the process, we recommend applying directly to a vacancy that interests you and sending your CV from the start.
