Description
As a Laundry Operator, you will work in one of the laundry departments and support the daily textile processing operations. The company works with industrial washing and folding systems and will provide full training on the machines and safety procedures.
The laundry has two main departments:
Pre-wash department
• Emptying containers with dirty laundry onto conveyor belts
• Sorting textiles by hand
• Organizing laundry before washing
• Supporting washing and drying processes
Post-wash department
• Feeding textiles into ironing and folding machines
• Hanging or placing garments correctly in machines
• Performing final quality checks on clean laundry
• Checking garments for stains or damage
• Packing and preparing orders for shipment
Additional tasks may include:
• Cleaning and basic maintenance of machines
• Following hygiene and safety procedures
• Keeping the workspace clean and organized
The work is physical and requires standing and moving throughout the day.
